International Opportunities are memorable no matter the trip!
Every year, girls and Leaders travel abroad with Girlguiding, visiting Europe and further afield, to take part in a variety of different memorable experiences which have ranged from competing in a race across Europe, trekking across the Arctic, going to an International jamboree, visiting a World Centre, doing community work and using specific skills like sailing.
These exciting opportunities are an excellent chance to visit a part of the world you would normally have chosen, to encounter different cultures and traditions, to take part in new and exciting activities, and to make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
Each year we hold an International Opportunities event for all girls and young women looking to go on a trip. This may be a day event or it can be a residential. During the event, participants will complete a range of activities to see what types of activities they like, how they interact with others and what type of international trip they may be interested in.
