Cups of Kindness

Girlguiding Midlands have launched their coronation themed challenge pack and units from across Leicestershire and Rutland have been busy.

Amongst the challenges is one to do an act of kindness for someone in your community and this is where we have shown what we are really made of.

Narborough Brownies invited the Enderby litter Wombles to an evening of thanks incorporating the Midlands challenge “Cup of kindness” They had 9 wombles for tea and cake, entertainment and games. Fab night to say thank you for all they do. The girls also gave them a plant in a decorated pot and a card. Very enjoyable evening

1st Uppingham Guides ‘made ‘ Coronation flowers and went round the town giving them to members of the public yesterday night ….

The girls loved it when they got to talk to people and talked about the Coronation and Girlguiding.
9th Oadby Brownies – Our Brownies decorated plant pots with flowers & crowns, planted purple petunias and delivered to local residents in Garden Close, Oadby. The girls were thrilled when some residents came out to thank them!
