Outdoor accommodation (Pods and campsite) and indoor accommodation near Tilton
Set in a 14-acre field with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, there are six campsites and a fully equipped chalet for indoor self-catering holidays. If you choose to camp, you will be glad to know there are two large wet weather shelters, both with electricity, and all of the campsites are equipped with altar fires. There are modern toilet blocks catering for both males and females and four unisex showers.
The Pods
The Pods are packed with stress free fun. No tents, no storm lashing, no groundsheets. We have four Pods that are insulated, carpeted and powered which allows year round use. Attached to the Pods is a functioning camp kitchen with electricity and a full calor gas cooker and a hot cupboard. The camp kitchen has stainless steel working area, a fridge, freezer, microwave and a range of kitchen equipment. There is an alter fire close by and the water tap is a short walk. These Pods are suitable for up to five children or four adults per Pod. You don’t even need to bring your mess tent as there is the Swift wet weather shelter attached to the camp kitchen. It’s perfect for when the weather turns patchy. There are also chairs and tables available.
