One of the key messages from Girlguiding is that the things girls most remember about their time in guiding are the trips and residential opportunities that they are given by leaders. We know that many of you offer a number of opportunities to your girls and we are delighted that we can offer another superb opportunity in the county. We are arranging our ever-popular Water camp again this year and expect a high demand for places.
What is it?
This is an opportunity open to all Guides and Rangers in Leicestershire and Rutland to camp, explore new activities and make new friends.
Camping
If you are an experienced camper and have taken part in county events before, I am sure you are aware of how much fun they can be for girls and leaders alike. Never taken your unit away before? Well, don’t let that put you off. For this event you do not need to hold a residential license of any description. There will be plenty of support available prior to and during the camp.
Bookings
Bookings open 27 February 2023 – A ‘Register Now’ button will go live on this event page with a booking form. This should be completed along with the deposits being paid by BACS. Please note that no places will be confirmed or held until both the booking form and payment have been received.
